So this is basically a test post for this blog thing. I'm trying to figure out how it works and whether I can really get myself off the ground with it. So, here goes nothing.
I was inspired to try and get a blog up and running by some friends in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). At a recent event where people were sharing their research, it was pointed out how useful the internet can be for sharing information. So far I've mainly relied on giving out my email address a lot and mailing things out individually. But, maybe trying to get my stuff up here on the Web will be helpful and productive. So, let's see.
Maybe someone other than me will actually read this.
